The challenge
In automotive components manufacturing, per-part traceability is both an internal (quality, returns) and external (industry standards, client audits) requirement. Data must reach SAP directly — the single source of truth for production, stock and reporting.
The solution
Rosistem delivered a bespoke traceability solution directly integrated with SAP. The system combines two types of Datalogic readers:
- Datalogic Powerscan — rugged handheld readers for operators at manual stations, with strong read performance on damaged/worn labels
- Datalogic Matrix 320 — industrial fixed reader with fast processing, mounted on the automated line for no-stop reading

Outcome
Every part moving through the production lines is scanned, tracked and logged directly into SAP — with a full history of the stages traversed. Data feeds SAP quality modules and end-client reports.
